Hi
I am currently trying to reasearch courses to enable me to get into Beauty Therapy (I currently work in Finance). I can only take a weekend/ evening course as I will need to keep working until i am qualified. I would like to learn: Swedish Body, reflexology, Indian Head and Sports massage.
I have looked at the Beauty acadamy and I am confused as to whether the Diploma they offer is recognised and valid, as if I was to go with a college the training would be twice as long. Can you really become qualified after a 2day course? I would rather do it properly than take a quick fix. Can anyone give me some advice or recommend a college/course in birmingham that does evening and weekends and also will I need to get do Anatomy and pysiology first and if so at what level? I am a little confused as there is a lot on the market out there! Thank you!
