I am totaly new to nails, I have had bio overlay's on and off now for over 2 years and think they are realy good.
I know that eventualy, when my kids are at school i want learn to be a nail tec, however, till then i would like to do the calgel or bio course, (Just so i can do my mums and a friends nails) which they say i can i would just need a basic manicure and pedicure certificate. I understand that paying there £500 course fee for calgel and £550 for bio dose not garantee a pass and wondered if anyone that has done either course thinks someone with no nail tech experence would stand a chance of passing, or would this just be a waste of money.

hi rachells
i completed a 12 week basic manicure/pedicure course at my local college in April 2009 then went onto do the Calgel 2 day course in the september and passed. Calgel (along with the rest of these big nail companies) really want you to pass so you can become their customer & promote their products so it's highly unlikely you'd fail ! Saying that, I really did feel that my calgel educator wanted everyone to pass too. I'd never even had a set of gel nails before I done the course and I passed so I'm confident you'll have no troubles passing at all. best of luck !

Thank you very much for your reply, I am feeling slightly more confident now, I realy want to do well, so i will be putting everything i have into doing well.
