Help, gel nail polish!

Hey everyone!
I have been qualified for 4 months and offer only gel polish - no extensions.
I have had a lady come in for 4 sets of nails now (one a month) and the first 3 went really well. Her gel polish stays on until she next comes back - but removal is always really hard. They never come off easily (i always dread the removal for hers.)

Yesterday morning I did her a fresh set and by the evening she had messaged me saying one had chipped and her thumb nail seemed as though it wasnt stuck down in the middle. I have just redone them for her tonight and I think it went well. She left happy -I am just now super nervous that this will happen again as Im pretty sure I didnt do anything different to cause this yesterday. Any ideas? Pleaseeeee!

Hand placement in the lamp? Perhaps her thumb didn't catch the light fully.
The chipped one was probably just the client bashing it somehow.
Hopefully you only renewed the damaged ones, not the full set?

I did wonder if it was hand placement. It really knocked my confidence!
I replaced the entire set (this was my first time of this happening so something I will learn from!)

I was just in panic mode a little and doubted myself!!
