Help making fans for Russian lashes

I did my course last week and have been practicing making the fans, I'm ok at actually making them but as soon as I let go after placing them they fall apart or close up even after holding them in place for a while. What can I do to stop this? Is it the glue do you think? Which glue is best for russian lashes??

It is likely your glue isn't fast enough, they will be falling apart or closing as the glue isn't set sucking them all together. I would recommend a 0.5 second glue or 1 second glue. I use Luxury Eye by Helga Halapi's Pro Glu, but they also do their Diamond glue which is slightly slower - which may be better for you, then if it is too slow, you can always buy an accelerator which speeds up the curing process.


Accelerators can be used with most glues - speeds up drying time.
