Hi Geeks.
At the moment I'm renting a space as a nail tech in the salon that provides full service. I want to get another girl working for me on commission. But I don't really know how to do it. Could you please advise me on this?
I will provide all nail supplies.
Should I give her salary plus commission, or just commission? What is the fair commission?
Is there anything else I should know about?
Thank you!

You could either
Pay her a wage regardless of how many clients she does.
Pay her 40% of all her takings -which will encourage her to work hard and keep clients.
(A 60/40 split is about the norm -60% to you of course. But I've heard of some salons where its 50/50)
Or rent her a chair or a room in your salon - but she supplies her own products, towels etc.
