Hi guys,

I'm assistant manager in the Spa im working in at the moment, we are currently using Elemis and Green energy ranges in the Spa but we are not fond of the green energy organic range so we are thinking of gettin Yonka in as a cheaper brand to have with the Elemis.
What do ye think? do ye have any advise? Maybe Yonka is a bit to similar a range to have with Elemis? do ye know any other brands that have a lovely treatments with brilliant results? any comments are welcome, thanks :)

I personally don't think Yonka is very good at all - and a few clients who have tried it haven't been impressed either. It's basically the same 5 essential oils (a very odd 5 as well) in a variety of bases, most of which are tacky & gunky. There are better ranges out there!

do you have name of any other good ones because Im not all 2 keen on getting it in as I love Elemis but my manager has it in her head she wants yonka and its very hard 2 change her mind once its set..... but if i have a list of fab other ranges with ye guys backing them then I should be able to convince her:)

As you already have an aromatherapy range, it might be worth looking at a more medical range to appeal to a different segment of the market - no point having two aromatherapy ranges! Perhaps something like Environ might be worth looking at?

thanks very much for your help :)

A personal opinion... I have used YONKA for years now and they are brilliant to use and good selling products... now I have to disagree with "tacky" and "gunky"...not very applicable to YONKA...

I worked with yonka for years also, and really loved it it, the facials are amazing, and i found the training one of the best ive had. I have to say i never found ot tacky or gunky. The smells are strong, but the customers love it and it did retail quite well also

I didn't like YonKa at all. It's all down to personal opinion, really. You're going to gel with one brand over another.
My only advice is to try lots and don't settle for gimmicky special opening offers unless you're really happy with the range. This should be a long tem relationship not a flash in the pan!
