Help with Balayage please!

This is my first post so be kind geeks

I have a client with a base 4 so I was going to Balayage with 12% and olaplex using the v technique. I'm leaving her roots natural but wanted to add another colour for the midlengths to add dimension. Was think either 6.3 and 5 or 7.13? My question is do I bayalage first then wash dry then Lowlight just the midlengths leaving afew of the ends out or should I add the colour while the bleach is still on?
