Hi guys,

I really need some help, I am currently doing my business plan for a salon I intend to take over.
The salon is no longer open, and has had some problems with staff etc so using their figures is not really an option. It is on a reasonably busy parade of shops and consists of 3 cutting stations, 1 basin, a nail bar, 1 treatment room and a vertical sunbed.
I am trying to estimate my revenue, but I'm not sure where to start- I know what my price list will be, but how do i estimate customers per day and increases etc?
I am expecting to make a loss in the first couple of months, but the rent is low and I have good marketing skills so I'm optimistic about making it work.
I'm not trained in hair, but I qualified as a make-up artist so I'd probably make a vanity station for that too. I'd intend to have 1 full time stylist and 1 part-time after a few months. I'd rent out the nail bar, and I'm going to do a waxing and extensions course etc to be able to cover the beauty side.
Does anyone know if theres a free template specifically for a salon available? any advice would be most appreciated.....

Thanks, Gina x

business link usually help with plans etc. and are pretty good. Failing that, maybe work on 50% of the previous turnover, or whatever percentage you feel works, given how many staff there were previously compared to your plans.
