Help with colour

Yesterday I had a L’Oréal 6.8 full head colour on my hair and it’s came out really dark looking like a base 5. Is there anything I can do to lighten my hair? I’m naturally between a 6 and 7. I’ve already tried washing it twice with head and shoulders

I’m trying to understand your thought processes.
Why would you use head and shoulders shampoo? All that does is cause excessive dryness. It’s not going to do much to a permanent colour as the molecules are inside the cortex.

Was your hair already coloured? What made you choose that particular colour as it’s blue ash based and ash always looks darker than a neutral base. You need to either use a colour remover or to lift it only a level, consider trying a bleach bath/shampoo.
