Help with flyers

Im looking to design some flyers for some local shop windows now do i order some from vista print or can i make my own up using microsoft works??? Im useless at this sort of thing if im honest so dont have a clue!

I can recommend Carl Rothwell for flyer design, www.verveprint.co.uk if that is any help; he's done a lot of logo design and whatnot for loads of people on here. Am sure he'd be able to give whatever advice you needed too, especially if you are in need of an extra bit of assistance.
