Hey girls,
I'm sorry but i have missed read it, it's an written assessment not a asignment.
I'm going to miss that question out and have a word with my tutor about it, Just hope she wont fail me on it.
Thanks girls x
Hi, Angel,
I am quite recently out of college having done by VTCT Level 2 in Nail Services and unless I am barking up the wrong tree completely (or barking mad), I would word my assessment as follows:-
1. False Nails: This is an old terminology for nail enhancements which covers tips, natural overlays and sculptures as detailed in question 2.
2. Enhancements: As above this covers 3 types. If the client attends for a manicure any of the 3 enhancements can be offered if suitable. This would increase salon revenue because finishing treatments e.g. cuticle oil and polish can be offered. Enhancements could also be offered if the client is attending a special occasion, e.g. wedding, hen party, holiday. This way they have a permanent set of nails without having to re-polish whilst they are away (and you get to rebalance)!! Again, extra revenue.
I always used to look for the hard answers, but in reality all they are looking for is common sense. So think what you would do if you were a tech in a nail salon. But, don't beat yourself up ahout it!!
Hope this helps a little.
