I did and overlay on my nails with Creative's clear... (trying to let mine grow out,)

I have 4 nails that the acrylic is cracking, only at the free edge

Why is it doing this? I'm wondering if I didn't make them to thin :?

How do I go about fixing this?

Do I just file it down some and reapply?

Jamie :(

When you do a natural nail overlay with any system ... always apply a nail form and make sure that the product extends just a little bit further than the natural nail ... if you do not do this, then on any impact, you will tend to split the two layers apart.

This is the same reason we file at a 45 degree angle ... so that the product always extends just a little beyond the natural free edge. This ensures the natural nail has a little protection if it suffers an impact of any kind.
