Help with tips please

Happy Sunday to my fellow geeks!

I have a quick question about tips (although I am moving into sculpting next week and must say I am very excited about learning this new skill!).

I am newly qualified and have only used full well tips up to now and they were taking WAY too much time to blend, so last week I bought some well less tips and am confused about how to use them. I ended up blending them as they felt and looked weird not blended... do you have to blend these tips if you are doing a french or natural gel?

Please help! I have another client tomorrow and would like to use these tips on her too!

Hi Chick, no you don't blend well less tips as the wells have been removed for you. You just glue and then gently remove the shine from the tip and away you go. xx

i still always blend well less tips a little bit just to get them a bit more flush with the nail....you dont necessarily have to do it but i prefer to. most of them are pretty thin so only need a few swipes of the file... some already have the shine removed like the CND performance ones
I know you say you are moving to sculpting i still think that there will be times as a tech where some of your clients will be better with tips depending on their nail type.
