Hiya, im new to this just joined today im currently at college doing my NVQ level 2 feel im doing really well passed off on most of my treatment which im pleased with. Just done my fake bake training which i enjoyed but its made me think about buying the equiptment and spraying from home. I could do this as i have a room with my beauty couch in and an doing my eye treatments and waxing from.
Would like to know what you think to me spraying from home charging £15 for a full body, but maybe having a start up offer of 3 for 2 but pay upfront to try and get regular clients. Advice would be soo helpful thanks x

Sounds like a great idea to me hun. £15 is very reasonable though. I guess you could charge this for your first few goes though as a sort of 'just out of training' price.

Good luck, Joy x

I think its a great idea,

i would practice on friends and family charging them first and get them to spread the word, be careful on the insurance side if your not insured as there is always one, and its a worry if someone did have a moan! but i think its the only way you learn, the only thing that might worry me is if your not fully qualified yet, i did friends and family and charged them a small price until i finished college as its very risky if your doing random clients.

But good luck with what ever you decide

Hi there, I'm new to this too but have my 1st beauty party booked for next week. I'm offering full body spray tans for €25 and half body tans for €20.
Included in that is 10% off their next tan and I'll also be giving out spray tan loyality cards (have 5 full body tans and your 6th is free)
So far people think that's a good deal and seem interseted (i've two more parties booked after this one)
Buy two get one free seems VERY cheap to me!

Don't know how much salons in england charge but my local salons charge €35-€45 depending on the tan

Hope you find this usefull
p.s if you want to print up loyality cards VistaPrint postcards are dirt cheap and you design whatever offers you'd like!

Thanks, do you think £15 would be enough to cover my set up costs as the fake bake equipment would end up costing about £400 inc. the solutions etc
xx
