Highlift tint

Hiya guys

Can someone kindly explain highlift tints, are they like a lightener? and do you still have to prepig when using a darker colour over?

The op means if her client had high lift tint on there hair would she still need to prepig if dropping to a darker shade? The answer would be yes! If your dropping from a level 10 to anything darker you would always prepig! It don't matter what's on the hair that made it lighter it's the level of the hair and what level your dropping to will determine the correct prepig to be used! I.e different levels have different undertones so they need to be put back in!
But I agree with the girls a professional hairdresser would no what a high lift tint was! Id say your answer is in its name "high lift tint" 😁
