whats everyone's hobbies or favourite things to do when they aren't working or running around after little ones? Apart from the usual socialising or watching tv?

I love getting stuck into a good book! Another thing I enjoy doing is stoning and I may take this up as another side business. My mum has a dance shop so gets lots of people for the disco style costumes heavily stoned I find it so therapeutic I don't know why!

What do you all enjoy doing?

I don't have little ones, but I'm going to answer anyway... I love going to gigs, theatre shows and to museums and galleries. I also love reading, but I feel I never have the time to do it. I really should put aside 10 mins before I go to bed instead of looking at my phone. I also love visiting cities and countries. And eating. I am a big fan of food.

I dont have little ones either but i love a good book! I also have an annoying addiction to candy crush! So i play until my lives run out then i read!:) x

I thought I would add little ones into it as quiet a lot have kids!

I'm so bad with games on my phone too! I've upgraded to a 6s so I've kept my 5s to just have all my games on!

Im going to start my Harry Potters again I think as I read something on okay magazine which has made me want to re read them!

I'm such a big foodie to its got worse since being of work I just feel like I'm constantly eating!

I wish I was a city kind of person but I just love beaches (even tho I hate the sea) I wish I was more cultural like that!

I love reading too <3

I used to be able to blast my way through a 400 page book in 2 days, now I do about 4 pages and can't keep my eyes open :(

I love Horror and crime stories the most. OOh, and watching crime drama on the telly! I have so many crime drama box sets on dvd... Sherlock, Blue Murder, Johnathan Creek, Murder in Suburbia, Bones (LOVE the books these are based on- have every one of them) Wire in the Blood (again the books are fantastic!) and then some! My other half HATES it but I can binge watch hours worth :D xx

I'm out in the evenings with my kids but as soon as they're in bed I've got my kindle out. I can read a book in a night and it's costing a fortune [emoji20] once I start one I find it hard to put down until I'm finished.

Dancing - keeps me fit in a fun way, it doesn't feel like exercise!

Ohh i love harry potter!! Im gunna have to start reading them again! X

Ooh, so many authors I love! For horror Richard Laymon is one of my faves, and crime drama- so so many!

Val McDermid (wire in the blood is based on her books) Kathy Reichs (Bones is based on her's) the DCI Banks books by Peter Robinson are fab! ( think these have been made into a series too now) and Ian Rankins Rebus novels are some of my absolute faves! You always find these in charity shops too so I pick most of them up for 50p.

Did you watch the spin off from Silent Witness? Think it was called the body farm but it only ran for one or two seasons :( xx

I can literally spent my life watching crime drama :D

I love Tess Gerritsen novels, the Rizzoli Isles books. I read all 11 of them in less than a week. It's about a female detective and a coroner. I loved them.
I also like M J Arlidge books too.

Have you watched the Sherlock series on sky called elementary? I'm hooked on that and CSI Sunday's!

Is bones the one on sky with Angel in out of buffy? It's on sky demand may start watching it!

I'm the same with books I have to carry on until they are done so hard to put down! I download lots of free ones on my iPad for when I can't be bothered to get out of bed to turn the light of after finishing reading! I've just bought the one from the lady who's husband told her he didn't want to marry her anymore so she packed up and went travelling was in the news so I've got that to start soon

If I start a series on Netflix I get proper into them and can watch like 13 episodes in a day! I've just finished prison break but I'm so excited for season 5 to come out! I get far to into things tho and I was balling my eyes out in the end!

I have a dog who is basically my child.. My mums keeps asking for grandchildren and I just point at the dog. Obviously he's not a hobby, but when I have nothing else to do I just talk at him and try to make him dance.
I'm with you guys on reading though, I love it when I have a good book on the go.

I play classical and folk violin, dance and play fiddle for a border Morris side, and write for a metaphysical publisher on the subject of traditional European witchcraft. Sometimes I don't know how I fit work in!

I read when I'm relaxed enough and can really get into it.

I was in a community choir a while ago and it was just the best experience! Great fun! So would love to do that again.

And I want to make jewellery, beading and stuff. I've bought some books ready but need to find some more time!

My hobby is writing spells[emoji4][emoji23] odd one.

But right now i'm doing my GCSEs again so doing lots of revision and coursework lately so thats keeping me busy!

What a fab thread! I love going to the gym. Love Pilates and spinning. My hobbies also are reading on my kindle and then researching beauty stuff e.g blogs, vlogs and searching all brands I like.

I love to read but have struggled lately. Had some anxiety and struggling to concentrate x
