I had a client in today who decided she wanted to go red. She chose Rusk 5.56, which I mixed with 20 vol. She is a level 4 with 70% white hair. It came out lovely and she was very happy. Apart from one spot on the top which she says always happens ( picture attached). Any advice on how to prevent this happening next time. Thanx.

It covered the grey perfectly, it was just this spot that was the problem.

It's probably resistant there, use a little base just on that part next time

Just an idea to save time but you'll need to trial it somehow to have a definate do or don't do it but you could just do a quick swipe of neat base tint on that bit prior to the mixed red application, it could save messing with mixing a second bowl
