Hia everyone,

does anyone know how we breakdown the cost of a treatment to us... say for example it costs 20.00 for a luxury pedicure.... how do I work out what this costs me to do, another question on my business plan needed for the morning - any assistance asap would be appreciated cheers xxxxxxx:confused:

measure out the amount of products you will use , then use the cost of the whole pack of product to work out the cost for the amount required.

so say if you use 10 ml of lotion from a 100ml bottle. and the bottle costs £1 then 10 ml of the lotion will have cost you 10p.

do that with all the required products.
add to that an amount for salon rent, laundry and all the other things and add on the cost of the hours wages you need to do the treatment .
and you should be able to come up with a price.

oh my goodness gracias me that sounds complicated haha xx

What products do you use? If CND, they have a nice cost per service breakdown on their website. :)

Don't forget to add in things like couch roll, nail wipes, toe separators, polish remover....and portions of telephone, water, rent, rates and electric bills.
I'd forgotten what a nightmare it was to do
Good Luck.
