Ermmm dunno how you find a good one but herman is one!!!

Prob look at their qualifications etc, but then again having all the qualifications in the world doesnt make you a good masseuse!!!

Try looking on www.healthypages.net

You can search for therapists in your area, as Amanda says look for qualifications and I would also ring and have a chat with the therapsit before booking. Ask how long they've been working, what advice they could give for knots, make you like them, etc. If you want a really deep massage, then look for hot stone (hmmm - heavnly) or sports massage.

I agree with all of the above.

Having just completed a swedish massage course myself i have seen some BAD masseurres and some EXCELLENT Masseurres.... and i think the key to it is experience. If you're looking for a really good one and experiencing problems with your back, the best place to go is a physiotherapist... they are taught exactly the right moves to correct issues rather than just the basic moves of a massage. If not, try and find a massage specialist, not just someone in a general salon...
Additionally, you can try and locate a sports masseusse....

I would personally go on how long they have been doing it rather than their qualifications. I would also look for someone who does remedial massage then you will be guaranteed a thorough massage.
A bit like nails, word of mouth is always the best.
