I have spotted a nail trainer for sale on ebay but the DVD & Gel lamp are missing - I am very short of cash and on a severe budget but really want a nail trainer, now because the DVD and gel lamp are missing I am wondering it will go for cheaper than normal but ovbiously I have no idea how important these 2 things are. It is L&P I am or will be training in from the 31st and so could I live without these two things in the early days of practising?

If you're doing a CND L+P course you wont need either the dvd or the lamp, so go for it!!

Yvette's right, you wont need either at all.

If and when you decide to do a Brisa conversion you will get a UV lamp in with the kit included in the course price, and as for instructional DVD's, there's no substitute for actual training and you've already got that sussed so you wont need a DVD.

if its going cheap, snap it up, just make sure its a decent one that you can get the replacement fingernails for. I got a cheap one and it was rubbish, you had to soak the enhancements off every time you used it!

Didn't end up going for it in the end - something didn't seem right!

When i bought mine I didnt get anything with it, just some spare nails...

The tutor will provide you with progress cards..

Just pay attention to the actual training hand, this is the most important bit...

Most of the girls on my course hired theirs but they had problems with the hands falling to bits as they were very well used.

Mine was £60.00 and its fantastic x
