Hi Everyone,

I am relatively new to the industry (2008) and doing my final year HND at college, I qualify in June and I really would like some advice from you...

I want to become a Holistic Therapist to ensure my clients have a wonderful experience during their treatment, I want to be able to share my positive energy and help to re-balance their emotions and give them a unique sense of homeostasis.

Would you say Reiki would be the best road to go down or Energy Healing? I have read into both and both seem excellent although I'm thinking Reiki is more recognised and there are much higher stages of advancement too.

Any stories that can be shared or advice that can be given would be greatly appreciated!

Kindest Regards,

Hi, Firstly I would say use your intuition and go with what feels right to you, after all that is what this is all about. Secondly there is (IMO) very little difference between Reiki and energy healing they are one and the same. You become a tool to channel healing universal energy to the recipient to bring about balance and harmony.

I would suggest have a treatment and see what you think (if you haven't had one all ready) I find energy healing in whatever form be it reiki, crystal healing or even kinesiology very bizarre as it is something that can not be easily explained and i do like good explanations.

I hope that helps a little bit at least.
xx

Thank you Helen :)
