Hi geeks!

Just wandered how you went about advertising for massage? Bit worried incase I get dodgy men ringing up. So where would you say is the best place to advertise for this treatment? Am mobile and just starting out as only just qualified in massage. So as much help would be appreciated.

Do you do indian head massage or clothed seated massage. You could volunteer your services at your local hospital for cancer patients. As well as being rewarding and gaining experience you well may gain paying clients.
Also any pamper evenings at local schools are great to give out your info.
Get a website, facebook business page, twitter and maybe offer discount for new followers.

Hi, I agree with Gillian. If you do a clothed massage like Indian head massage, you could do it at a school fair, pamper evening or similiar event. It gives you good practice as well as practice in relating to clients and selling yourself, plus good advertising for your business. Some old people's day centres also have rooms to hire cheaply if you make your treatments affordable to the visitors. Try wix.com to build yourself a website, it's really straightforward. For normal full price massages, don't undervalue yourself. If you charge too little you may get dodgy clients or those who see you as a bargain basement massage provider.
