Hey everyone :)

I've been applying for apprenticeships to complete my Level 2 for ages now and I just seem to get rejected all the time..

I have children but I am still flexible, I am 21 but I am still as passionate about the industry as I was when I was a school leaver, maybe even more!

I just feel like I'm hitting a brickwall when ever I apply.. I've tried every type of salon from modern to older ladies and unisex and nobody seems to want me lol

Any tips?!

Xx

How many hours are compulsary for your course? If you can, why not volunteer one day a week for free? This is what I had to do to get my foot in the door. I hope you find somewhere as I know from experience how hard it is finding a salon when your a bit older.

Definitely increase your work experience. Volunteer for free everywhere which will increase your network of contacts and vastly improve your CV. That's the number 1 thing you can do.
