How to remove shellac from lamp

Whats the best way to remove Shellac from the finger tray of my lamp?

Thanks, I wasn't sure whether to use acetone or d-solve, will give the surgical spirit a try.:biggrin:

I use 99% alcohol and it comes off quite easily. :biggrin:
