How to section for foils

Hi, Im returning to hairdressings after a couple of years away and would like some tips on basic sectioning for half head foils, diagrams or pics would be fab if possible.

I do a t section, parting sides and the. Across the back ear to ear

theres lots of different patterns for foiling , i would recomeend getting the colour book its got lots in about foil patterns x
