How to use Solar Oil as a polish dry

I know this has been discussed (loads of times) but i've just gone over to Creative products & i purchased Solar Oil.
What i want to know, is when you have put the top coat onto natural nails, you then have a wait a few min's, then apply the solar oil. But do you paint the Solar Oil onto the nail as if your painting enamel, as i've also read that you apply a few drop's then massage the oil into the nail, but would this not smudge the enamel.
Also would applying Solar Oil make the enamel last longer?

I apply a drop over the nail when it is touch dry and let its settle...then gently with the pad of my little finger stroke the oil into the cuticle area and down over the nail.

Just gently drop a bead/blob of oil at the base of the nail and let it run over the whole nail...gently use your finger to spread all over including surrounding skin x

It might have been better to buy Solar Spreed Spray, which has all the properties of the oil but needs no rubbing in :wink2:
