my husband has this toenail that is really thick we went to the gp and he took a sample from it to send to the lab ,but it came back negative for fungus now I would like to know what this is ,he only has it on two nails and it doesn't spread to the others,it's the toe near your big one.Could this be from friction in his workshoes as they have steeltips
