I think I may have stained a client's bath help!

Hi guys, im mobile and today when I washed out a clients hair I was putting the foils in the plastic bag to take to despose of them an to my horror there were what looked like scratches on the bath, i washed them away, she saw them and didnt comment. They looked like the foils had like staine the bath with grey scratches. They went away but I am terrified there may stilll be some marks there. Obviously if there are she will contact me she is a regular client so I will ring my insurance. What if they like reapear when she goes to clean the bath or something. was it the make of foils do you think. Please help xxx

what was the colour you were washing off?? i'm sure foils won't do that,
i have scratches on my bath and when i was purple off it stains just on the scratches, i just bleach it x

Thats the thing it was bleach!!! It was like the foils has sort of scratched along and left grey marks alond the bath!! yeh hopefuly if there is anything left there then bleach will remove it xx

Hmm that is baffling ..... but it does sound superficial and something that will come off , x minky

I did this in the bath at my boyfriends - weirdly with my painted toes, they left streaks of red like claw marks! I scratched at the marks and they didn't seem to come off, so I fessed up. He dragged out the bathroom cleaner and a cloth and it came off with no effort at all!

My little boy left loads of marks on the bath from playing with his toys.

I tried everything to remove them, red blue yellow and black marks all over the bath and it looked so bad.


As a last resort I put some Acetone on a wipe and rubbed and viola my bath is perfect!!

The only thing is, if her bath is actually scratched from the foils there's nothing much you can do:irked:

Hi guys thanks for the replys no it wasnt scratched it was like staining, so wierd though, looked like scratches but was like marks. Thanks again with the replys xxx

i occasionally have this in my backwashes.when u take foils out and gather them up, they leave like grey scratches...but its not scratches at all fi you knw what i mean? anyway, it goes away. don't worry about it. it may be the type of foil that we both use? i get the salon services stuff, silver foil in a silvery grey box? xxx

Yeh kimmy!!! That is exactly what happened I use aston and fincher foil, I like the thickness!! Few I am glad they go away when I first saw it my heart lept into my mouth lol!!! Thanks again everyone for the kind replys hope you are all having a good festive season xxxxxx:hug:
