IBD Gels

Why does my IBD gel nails always lift at the free edge and become discoloured after just a few days - do you think ulta seal is a better cover than a clear gel. Has anyone got any opinions on a better user friendly gel system than IBD. :irked:

I love my IBD gels! however i do dislike ultra seal and never use it, I use intense seal. Are you capping the free edge? No matter which gel system you use, if you don't cap the free edge they will lift.

I too used IBD gel and haven't found a problem with discolouration or lifting.

I prefer to use clear gel for the final coat....Ultra seal is too thick and I found the intense seal would peel off. As previously mentioned, cap the free edge and are you using the bonder sparingly (sp!)

It could be lots of things like applying too much bonder in the first place, not capping the free edge or getting the ultra seal on the skin will cause lifting. i haven't had any probs with ibd before L x
