I only noticed last nite that one of them has a hole in the top!

Is this for soaking you clogged brush :irked: which is one of my speciality skills I seemed to have developed...

No it is for reducing odour and keeping evaporation to a minimum.

A continually clogged brush is a clear sign of using too wet a mix ratio! Go a little less wet.
