Okay so I have used the Illumina neutrals for covering white hair a few times and I am never happy with the results. Am I right in saying that you can use the neutrals for covering high percentage grey/white hair? I am always left with a colour that shows up a slight mauve tone. I take it the neutrals cant be mixed with the other tones for grey coverage?! :)

My mum is 80% white and I go straight in with the fashion shades. 5/34 with 6%, I get full coverage.

Hi, I haven't found that I've needed to mix in base shades. I have noticed that I take smaller sections when using illumina. I've been really pleased with grey/white coverage.

Illumina is violet based so you will notice a coolness that you wouldn't with koleston bases
