Hi all,

I have been approached to provide indian head at a local charity fundraiser which I am extremely excited about.
My full treatments last 35-40 minutes and I think I am going to have to cut them down for this. Basically I have no idea how or which bits I should modify/cut out. Does anyone have any ideas how I can do this and also any general advice for promoting myself at this event?! (this will be my first one!)

Thanks geeks!
xx

How long do you want each treatment to last 15 mins? If so then cut out the back massage part of the treatment and just do some simple facial drainage moves and then the head massage part of the treatment.

Make sure that you take plenty of business cars and price lists with you and don't forget your diary for all those appointments you are going to make whilst you are there for full service/paying treatments.

Good luck.

Hi

I used to work for Virgin and we had a 15 min IHM which fitted in most areas of the upper back neck arms, scalp scalp and face.

You could start hand connection resting your hands on shoulders - get them to breath in and out couple of times.

then a effleurage around scapula once like saying hello to the treatment, then do finger rubbing (vibration? - sorry having lots of senior moments and can't remember the words!) around the scapula again only the once. Then pick up the shoulders x 1, rub shoulders with finger tips x 1. rub up and down upper arm and then maybe do a couple of squeezes.

then work on neck area a couple of moves, maybe with some kneading and fingertip rubbing and/or use knuckles either side of neck area.

Go onto scalp and just cut each move down to one that you do already finishing with a finger pressing onto forehead around eyes, along cheekbone to ears, pressure on earlobes and then complete with a pressure on either side of the head.

Rambling sorry but maybe that gives you an idea. I apologise for my crass way of saying some of the moves , I am tired and rubbish at explaining!

Good luck
