got realy bad ingrowing hairs on my legs due to waxing.
and cant seem to get rid of them, can any one advise me on what product/method to use to get rid of them? and any way to prevent them coming back???
plz help wana get my legs in shape for summer.:wink2:
thx

You need to exfoliate 3 to 4 times a week and use moisturiser every day,
this will help to free them from under your skin and keep control of them,
if you are getting ones that are infected you can use any medicated wash, like Clearasil, hth

I agree, exfoliation is essential when you have ingrown hairs, as is moisturising. Another great tip for the bigger ingrown problems around bikini line especially and when ingrown hairs are lumps or infected. Get yourself some Magnesium Sulphate cream from the local pharmacy. Use this for a couple of days and it will help to draw the hair out. Works wonders! Our mums used to use this to draw out splinters or stones out of our knees when we had fallen over!

My doctor recommended this and it is available over the counter with no side effects for those of you who may be concerned.

Exfoliation and moisturising is def the way to go, I was also advised that neat tea tree oil works at bringing the ingrown hair to the surface, you can buy in health food shops and you only need to use a tiny amount directly onto the ingrown hair.

hi. you will need to exfoliate 2-3 times a week to moisturise your legs. this will also get rid of your dead skin cells that are on your legs aswell. when waxing and you still have some ingrowing hairs left then always pluck the ones that are ready to come out that you could get out with the wax.
i hope we have all helped you enough
