Hi Everyone,

I saw a thread on the site yesterday about 'charging' whilst training, I didnt know that you could charge clients whilst training as your not fully qualified?
what about insurance whilst training, and charging clients?

Most of the main insurers offer student insurance at a reduced rate....check the policy for details of working on pying clients, and what you need inform them.

At college we are covered by the colleges insurance to work on the public as the college is a salon and they do charge!! The clients are fully aware that we are students and are supervised at all times by a tutor:green:

It does depend on your level of training. For examplei, if you have passed NVQ 2, even if you are still training, you would qualify for full Guild Membership.

The Guild does offer student membership for some case studies, under supervision. If you would like more details, call 0845 2177 383.
