Im with salon gold as a freelance hairdresser and I don't pay that much, but if you own a salon and have employees you would obviously pay more. Try googling it and ring about to get quotes and check exclusions, excess etc

For Salons, please refer to our website (www.just-hair-insurance.co.uk) and click Request a Salon quote to complete an online enquiry form alternatively call the office (answered ACM Broking) and ask for a Just Hair quotation.

Our Salon product is a comprehensive insurance policy covering Contents/ Stock/ Business Interruption (£650,000 - 2 year period) Employers (£10 million limit) & Public Liability (£2 million limit)/ Hairdressers Treatment Risk (£1 million limit)/ Money (up to £5,000)/ Glass (up to £10,000) with automatic work away (for competitions/ photo shoots etc). Buildings and Subsidence cover are optional covers.

The policy was launched at Salon International last year.

If you need Freelance cover, you can buy this online - premiums start from £36.50 for a qualified hairdresser noting a Public Liability/ Treatment Risk limit of £3 million. Stock/ business equipment and Money can be included too subject to an additional premium.
Freelance Hair & Beauty Insurance

Good luck with the business
