Out of curiosity, is IPL something you would invest in?

Im seriously thinking of introducing this...if anyone has introduced this....

has your waxing gone down in popularity?

Do you have much call for it?

Can you recomend some companys either here or the u.s

Thanks:)

hey i do it in my salon, i personally think it is a good investment as we make alot of money out of it and waxing doesnt seem to have been affected.

just one thing i would say make sure you get good propper training as when i first did my training i was not sure and not confident in doing it so i complained that i thought the teaching was rubbish and got a better teacher and more in depth training.

I would recommend Lynton Lasers as well. I used to do IPL & didn't have any fewer waxing clients

Medical esthetics is vastly growing in popularity.

Me and my boss are both laser technicians, but currently we do not do medical esthetics in our spa. Next month we are buying a laser (which is NOT IPL!), and introducing a medical product line.

Our clients are buzzing about the changes and are very excited. Once they have a borken capillary removed permenantly, or an acne scar treament, they will never go back to facials!

You can charge more, spend less time, and have better results!

I say go for it!!! (as long as you and your employees attent the proper training for the machine you decide to purchase).
