Italian qualifications in UK

Hi everyone,

My Friend who i work with is from Italy and has been working here for a year now. She re-trained in our London Academy and has a Certificate with us. However, the Italian Qualifications have recently changed to fit in with the European Standards.

She has a Level 3 Vocational Training Certificate and is now worried as to what that translates to in English. I have looked on Google and not had any Luck. Is it just the same as NVQ Level 3?

Hopefully one of you has had a similar situation.

Habia are probably the best placed to give advice on transferring qualifications.

Thanks, but I had a look on habia,s website. I looked at the worldwide qualifications grid but Italy wasn't on there, maybe I should send them an email x

Does your friend need formal verification for employment/insurance purposes?

NARIC provide a qualifications verification service.
They make a charge of approx. £50 for the service.

No she doesn't need them atm, she is just worried for when she goes back to Italy or leaves our salon for another one.
