Just qualified - colour brand help

I've just qualified & we trained with Goldwell so lettering system rather than numbers. I want to use an alternative colour brand than Goldwell but I'm not very confident with the numbering system. I have the ICC so can see which number is what colour but I wanted to know are all colours (number-wise) the same regardless of brand? I hope this makes sense & someone can help.

Hey x im trained in wella so i think ita quite easy as it goes by the icc x eg 7/07 is a medium brunnette blonde x
