Hi Guys,
I've been wanting laser hair removal for ages and my lovely man has said I can have it for xmas woopee! lol only problem is I know there as a few different types and wondered what one was the best for me, it's for my whole bikini area I have really pale skin and quick dark hair
Thanks in advance ! xx

Hi

without question for me the best place to try is Sk:n clinics as a starting point - you have the perfect skin and hair type for it to be a success. I know I worked for them so am a bit biased however, it would be difficult for me to say to try if I had not had a success myself, iykwim? Anyhoo, lets put it this way, I have not had to be waxed or anything else for nearly 2 years and not an ingrown to be seen - yipee!

Just go and a chat and it will take approx 6 sessions for a course. The lasers they use are medical lasers and monochromatic so far quicker than IPL (sorry chaps those that use them), this means that the laser is effective on the hair only.

Hi Sarah.
Sk:n have a clinic in Edinburgh. Here is a link with their prices on it.

I have had laser hair removal there but haven't had my bikini line done yet. They were really friendly and I had a free consultation as well.
Have you tried sudocream on your bikini line to stop the ingrown hairs? I found that was the only thing that really worked for me. Although I had to apply a small amount almost daily. Pure witch hazel also seemed to help a bit.
Hope that helps a little?

Cheers Ellie, I'll give them a call on monday, funnily enough I do have some sudocream so I'll give it a bash xx
