Laser IPL RF qualification?? Procedures??!!

Hi
I'm in the process of buying and ipl machine and need to get a qualification in laser. The company im buying from will train me in the machine etc but i need a laser qualification first? Do I need a separate one for male and female intimate areas and for radio frequency too?

lso other than register with the healthcare commission and up my insurance is there anything else i need to do??

I would think if your doing the training with the manufactuers, then that's what qualification you'll need. They should be able to help you out with registering for the care commission. xx

Hi Hannah,

I've been doing laser hair removal for about 10 years. I was trained by the company that sold me the machine. I didn't need to have a qualification in it. The Quality Care Commissions regulations are changing on who needs to be registerd, I would reccommend having a look at their website to see what you need to do.

The company should train you on the areas that you want to treat and let you know of all the do's and don'ts. But I would check with your Insurance company if your wanting to do intimate areas. I don't know anything about radio frequency, but again I'm sure you will get sufficent trainning from the company.
