Lash Extension prices, who, what, where?

Hi, im doing a special offer on my lashes this week and its gone off a storm! its to get up my practice before i charge the corrrect amount a total bargin at £20!!argh!

Im confused what to charge when the offer is over. I cant find any salons in my area (on the net) that do them, the nearest one is the city 20 mile away and then theres only 3 on the net. My town isnt as affluent as the city hence a lower price and l work from home. Its taking me about 1hr30 - 2hours so far and my hourly rate averages at £25. The glue is (inc vat&postage) £22 every 3 month, thats a fair cost i think that needs to be counted in the price. I have 3000 lashes per size and i wont need to buy them for ages. So im about to work this out (sigh) could anyone give me any tips and also what do you charge, where are you and what salon have you got? this will help me much!

Plus - Infills?? no idea what to charge here as some people have only a few others more, shall i charge per 10 mins? or per lash?

these are my prices.

£85 per full set (2 hrs)
£45 for half set (1 hr)
£25 for corners (1/2 hr)

£25.00 for infills at 2/3 weeks - about 45 mins - I charge extra if its after 3 weeks because its more work.

Thats the sort of price we are, a little more. plus out infill's are ALWAYS half the normal price.

They are 1 hr, they are fully cleaned lashes are removed that are not looking perfect, then new lashes added, so its half price.

If you start to low you will not recover.

We don't do a price war, just give perfect lashes and service, my friend charges £85 or 90 in Kent, the same as us she splits it in half.

I am finding with the new adhesive clients are going even longer between infils I had a girl yesterday at 2 weeks with 90% of her lashes still on she could easily have gone another week so now she will be having infils every 3 weeks unless for some reason she loses loads. x

The new flirties adhesive. I honestly cannot believe how many of my clients are now going longer between their infils I just thought it would be that bit faster drying time but seems to have a stronger hold too. good news for clients and us, i feel like i hardly have anything to do at the infil stages now so have asked newer clients to let me know if they want to go a bit longer than the 2 week we book for their infil. Happy clients is what i love!

Thanks Kelshah! mite have a look at this glue then maybe give it a go? I currently use the Lash Perfect glue which is very good but Ive never tried another glue yet, so if its better, its a bonus!

Thats good news kellshah! I use marvel lash at the moment. My first model lasted 1 week and needed 4 put back in, i thought that was quite good. She only wore mascara once. So far the marvel lash glue seems good. Ill see how it goes a little longer, im interested in trying the flirties new glue, heard good things about it. This might sound silly but can i use it will my marvel lashes?

Thanks for the pricing info, its given me a lot to think about. Only one client has came back for infills as yet as ive only done 1 week of this and 6 clients, im waiting on the rest.

I do love doing them glamour puss!!! really really love them!! My back is not so keen though :-( my couch has a big plank of wood where my legs should go under so im sat with my legs wide open, not very dignified!! haha.

you can use any lashes with any adhesive, i would suggest you use the flirties primer and sealant with the adhesive too, my clients use mascara and still staying attached, i really cant tell you how surprised i have been recently, I must say though that i only use 0.10, 0.15 and 0.20 on most of my clients i rarely use the 0.25 and never apply too long, I am a flirties trainer, im not trying to sell anything i am just advising how i have found things, we teach that 3 x the length of the natural lash is the maximum and to be honest i would only apply that length to the very strong lashes if the client wanted that length but all my clients are happy so that makes me a happy lady too x
