Hello, I have done about 10 lash perms so far but today had a clients lashes not take to the perm at all. I use Thuya products and could only conclude it may be because her lashes were very straight and coarse. She also mentioned her hair doesnt take well to perms. I listed the steps I did below and understand the pad or rod size can affect this but I believe I used the proper size. I apply perming solution from roots to about 3/4 the way up. Do some people's lashes just not take to perms?
-cleansed with oil free remover
-taped down lower lashes
-applied silicone pad. Size small, requested tight curl. Lashes fit pad
-glued lashes to silicone pad
-perming solution 12 mins/eyes covered/wiped off
-neutralizer 12 mins/eyes covered/wiped off
-removed silicone pad
-remove excess product with water
My perms have all turned out so perfect until today. Help please
