Hi all
I am currently still training and gaining my evidence in Beauty Therapy and was looking for a bit of advice.
When I go to do the lash perm, when i remove the film from the roller, it seems to pull the lashes off the roller with it, any tips to avoid this?
I have just been placing them back on after when this happens and the curl comes out fine but I wondered if anyone has any tips how to avoid it?
All advice is much appreciated, thank youxx

Hya,Im not sure what you mean by the words I have highlighted in red above.I think you mean when you remove the perming solution, before you apply the neutraliser yes???

If this is the case you dont need/have to remove it in a heavy handed way, just dab lightly before you apply the neautraliser.

Sometimes some hairs will come off the rod.Make sure the lashes are firmly stuck on with glue at the start some therapists use an eyelash curler to get the hairs to curl round the roller before perming. You could try this.It is always harder to perm someones lashes who has had their lashes permed before(particularly those who have had it done not that long before)these sometimes dont want to stick to the rod and come away often.

Just remember to curl each hair around the rod carefully, use a cocktail stick to seperate the lashes and only dab very lightly to remove perming lotion.HTH

Secure the clingfilm gently. Try not to be heavy handed and push and poke it into the roller.

:)

Its important to make sure the manufacturer states to use cling film though.Mine doesn't.
