Layers from front to back diagonal??

Hi all you hair experts!

I once had a fantastic cut, where the stylist layered my hair by starting at the front of my head and cutting right across to the opposite side at the back. The layers were amazing and complimented my face.

Now the stylist has left the salon and i dont know how to ask for the above, what is this called, does anyone on here cut like this?

its not the lopsided ponytail in the fringe hack and slash cut is it? Where the hair is all pulled up to say the front left , put in a band and chopped through , then gone through removing any weight lines
