LED lamp and Shellac?

Can anyone help.....
I have ordered my Shellac kit minus the lamp and was wondering whether anyone knows if you can cure shellac with an LED lamp or whether you can only use UV?

I can only seem to find threads debating whether or not to use cheap uv lamps

I'll put this simply before it turns into another long lamp thread:

You can only cure Shellac with the CND UV lamp

And to add to that ... if you don't your insurer won't cover you if you do not use a CND lamp.
