I did a leg wax yesterday and was quite shocked when i noticed that the hairs weren't actually coming away.
I was rather embarrassed and have offered to go back and redo the clients legs but am after some advice of what could've gone wrong?
Also, can you recommend a good strip wax as i need a refill and want to chang my brand (Berins)

Some people have stubborn hairs!
Are you applying the wax with enough pressure? You need to make sure you apply enough pressure when applying the wax otherwise it can break the hairs. Also you need to make sure you have rubbed the strip all over. I use my whole hand and just give a couple of rubs. If you are just using your fingers you aren't covering the whole strip.
If the hairs are stubborn you can try applying in the opposite direction and this can get them out!
You could try Perron Rigot Cristal ocean which is another excellent wax :)

everything angelina has said above.

Have u also made sure the hairs are long enough?
Were u pulling in the right direction?
Sometimes if the room or the clients body is very hot it makes the wax very sticky n harder for the hairs to pull out.
I just use a cream tea tree wax.

Hairs were long enough and i was pulling against the growth as I was taught. The wax was very sticky and the lady had very fair and sensitive skin which came up in red pimples. I was mortified as it was her first leg wax and they were just not coming out.

Could you see them or just feel them.If she was a natural blonde or red head they sometimes have these tough short little unpigmented hairs that never seem to grow long enough to get with strip wax.
Using a hot wax that you can really work against the growth is usually successful but you would obviously have to charge more.
If she has only just started having waxing and usually creams or shaves you will often not get the skin smooth for a few waxes.
Red pimples are nothing to worry about as long as they go down eventually 24 hours or so and they are not overly sore or itchy which might indicate allergy or burn.
