I have been approached by someone with the above re application of gel nails. She tells me that she has had L & P in the past and that she had no problems or reaction with the enhancements and she was obviously on various medications at that time also. Is there any reason why I should not apply gel enhancements (for her sake - medical, and also my own in that I get her to sign a disclaimer for her condition). She is keen to have them done as she told me she is a compulsive scratcher (may be part and parcel of her illness) and that when she wears enhancements she can't in effect scratch her skin but only rub it. She also tells me she is very good with enhancements by always wearing various types of gloves when doing anything. Hope someone can help hers!

I would approach her case carefully... Definatly sign a disclaimer!!
Make sure she realises that the results may not be perfect, that meds etc,
can have unforseen side effects on enhancements..

I would possibly get a certificate/ letter from the doctor...
(not a compulsory for over here. But you may need to to cover your butt- so to speak)
