Hello everyone,

Just looking for some advice!
Would level 2 be enough to start my own business e.g. going mobile maybe one day think about opening a salon.
..Or is level 3 a must now?

Hi, Level three is good as it has business advice, stock, control,
risk asessment, how to deal with staff grievances , salon policy , contracts of employment , advanced colour , loads of health and safety
and loads of other things I have probably missed out too :)
you may also want to do your assessor units too ,

but if you choose not to do your level three , then perhaps you could do some advanced colour courses or advanced cutting courses to keep up your CPD ,
it might also be benifcial to take a short course in business before you open a salon and how to do your books ect ...

perhaps someone else will know more about good business courses ?

Hi, I work for myself mobile and I dont have NVQ 3. NVQ2 is enough for mobile work and then attend any further training from there in advanced colour, cutting etc. That is all I have done. plus Barbering.
