Hi

How do you light your room when your tanning?

I'm finding light is a big problem when tanning. I've taken the shade off the light and have a white blind. If its bright outside its fine but if its dull out the the room is dull

I've heard of day-light bulbs. Has anyone heard of these?

Also, when i done my fake bake training at their HQ they had something white on their windows. I'm not sure if you buy the windows like that or if there is some sort of white paper for windows you can get to keep the room private but let light in. Does anyone seen these or uses these?

With daylight bulbs, the main difference compared with normal bulbs is that daylight bulbs have a higher "colour temperature". This means that the light they give out has a bluish tint to it, whereas most standard bulbs and "warm white" fluorescent bulbs have a yellowish tint to the light.

So if you bought a daylight bulb and a standard bulb that both had the same lumen rating (the amount of light that they give out), then they'd both give out a similar amount of light, but the daylight bulb would have a colder, bluer colour.

If you need a lot of light, then I'd go for low-energy fluorescent or LED lighting, as you'll save a fortune on electricity bills!
