As you know, we are big supporters of any organization or individual willing to put time and effort into supporting great and worthy causes and they dont come much bigger than this! Over 150 of LCBTs trained therapists will take part in the effort to file & varnish 30,000 (yep, you read that correctly) hand nails in just 8 hours!
The London College of Beauty Therapy is attempting to steal back its world record crown for manicuring the most nails in eight hours and, in the process, theyll raise cash for two great causes: Rays of Sunshine (a wish-granting charity for young people with serious or life-threatening illnesses) and The Eve Appeal (a charity fighting against gynecological cancers). After beating the world record for the first time in 2010, an Australian organization beat their record in 2011. On May 10th 2012, theyre trying to get it back!
The event will be held at LCBTs Great Marlborough Street location and they need help! No less than 3,000 volunteers will be needed to turn up and receive a free manicure and goody bag (while stocks last!). If you want to get involved you can get register to download a free ticket HERE although a ticket isnt essential to take part!
What is there to lose!? Get yourself down there for a free mani, a chance to help some very worthy causes and some freebies.
